My name is Katherine Barber, and I am a Registered Nurse. I have a health, wellness and fitness
background, having been certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as a fitness
instructor, personal trainer, and lifestyle and weight management consultant. I was also a Licensed
Massage Therapist for nearly 25 years, having been in private practice for most of those years.

I earned my Associate of Science degree in nursing from Nashville State Community College and my
Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Middle Tennessee State University. I then continued to
pursue my Master of Science degree in nursing (MSN-FNP) by attending graduate school at Middle
Tennessee State University. Over the years, I have worked in many different nursing disciplines,
including emergency department, med-surg, wound care, dialysis, drug/alcohol detox and treatment,
hospice, home health, geriatric care, and community health disease intervention, in order to gain as
much nursing knowledge and experience that I can.

Wellness is important to both physical and emotional health. At our Fusion Wellness lounge, we offer a much-needed wellness service to those who may
be vitamin/nutrient deficient due to dehydration, stress, inadequate nutrition, specific diseases, and
even high physical activity by incorporating vitamin IV infusions and/or injections. In addition to vitamin therapy, we also offer ionic foot detox, Brain Tap therapy, and FIR/negative ion Inframat sessions.
